You need to configure the DD for passing init parameter to a JSP. You can configure the DD as follows.

<servlet>

      <servlet-name>test.jsp</servlet-name>

      <jsp-file>test.jsp</jsp-name>

           <init-param>

               <param-name>Abc</param-name>

               <param-value>Xyz</param-value>

       </init-param>

</servlet>
