What is the difference between the NULL pointer and wild pointer?

There is difference between the NULL pointer and wild pointer.
Null pointer points the base address of segmentwhile wild pointer doesn’t point any specific memory location.

A null pointer has a reserved value, often but not necessarily the value zero, indicating that it refers to no object.

Wild pointer is a pointer which has not been initialized. i.e. It has not have any address assigned to it. e.g.
